Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer to design and develop solutions powered by Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you will build scalable backend services and develop data pipelines that support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Software Engineers to deliver intelligent, production-ready AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery for applied AI problems and compare approaches using real data
• Build evaluation sets and quality measures together with domain experts
• Develop structured extraction, RAG, and entity-matching capabilities
• Turn successful approaches into reusable Python components for applications and data pipelines
• Work with product and engineering teams to scope, integrate and release features
• Own delivery plans, progress and technical risks

Requirements

• Strong Python and experience shipping LLM or ML features to production
• Hands-on experience with structured LLM output and RAG use-cases
• Strong evaluation and error-analysis skills
• Experience working with complex or unstructured data
• Experience building reusable components that integrate with larger systems
• Able to own technical decisions and delivery
• Useful PDF, Word and Excel processing complex tables and multilingual extraction (Pydantic)
• Async Python LLM agents; tool-calling and observability/tracing
• AWS, S3, Airflow, Kubernetes and MongoDB Atlas
• OCR; vision-language models or GPU inference
