Description

You will manage Infection Solutions products globally by translating market insights, clinical and scientific evidence, voice-of-customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and business case analyses into product strategies, feature/benefit messaging, launch support, lifecycle management recommendations, and investment rationale.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and synthesize voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback from surgeons, infectious disease specialists, laboratorians, sales teams, medical education, and other stakeholders to inform portfolio priorities and critical investments
  • Develop business cases for product and technology investments based on unmet needs, market opportunity, competitive differentiation, clinical value, and overall business impact
  • Support strategy and lifecycle management decisions for assigned Infection Solutions products on market; serve as main point of contact for day-to-day activities/responsibilities
  • Interact with Downstream Marketing and Marcom to define clear, compliant messaging for products
  • Create new and updated marketing materials for brand(s) with Downstream Marketing
  • Collaborate with R&D, clinical, regulatory, medical education, sales, downstream marketing, market access, legal, and operations to align product plans with business priorities and execution timelines
  • Identify market trends and competitive landscape and assist strategic plans for orthopedic infection diagnosis, prevention, and treatment
  • Evaluate needs of product marketing and sales personnel on a global basis
  • Provide support for cultivating strategy at the brand and/or sub-segment level

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of marketing experience required; prior internship/co-op within medical device preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written)
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills; ability to influence across a matrixed org structure
  • Microsoft Office Suite including AI tools; ability to develop presentations, product briefs, evidence summaries, and commercial support materials
  • Knowledge of DCS, JDE, Live Link, and Impromptu preferred
  • Familiarity with orthopedic and/or infection products and procedures preferred
  • Travel up to 30%
