Description

Design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation SoCs in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases. Review architectural performance bottlenecks across system-wide workloads and identify HW/SW policies to drive performance and performance-per-watt leadership. Build architecture and analysis documents for internal and/or external audiences, perform competitive analysis of uArchitecture and workload performance metrics versus other ARM SoC processors, and influence full-stack adoption of performance optimizations and standard methodologies across SW products and OSS SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next-generation SoC software
• Test and optimize software in pre-silicon and post-silicon
• Analyze system-wide performance bottlenecks
• Identify hardware/software policies for performance leadership
• Create architecture, analysis documents, and technical communications
• Conduct competitive analysis using architecture and workload performance metrics
• Drive adoption of performance optimizations and standard methodologies across products and SDKs

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of relevant computer architecture or software development experience
• Proven leadership skills and strong ownership on past projects
• Hands-on technical experience and demonstrated excellence in complex software and hardware designs
• Strong understanding of multicore hardware, operating systems design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers, and real-time programming
• Strong skills in performance analysis, data analysis, and performance optimization

• Base salary range (Level 4): 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
• Base salary range (Level 5): 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
• Base salary determined by location and experience and pay of employees in similar positions
