Description

You will join a product team delivering advanced energy applications, including algorithms that determine the state of the electrical grid. You will work closely with developers and the product management team to deliver smarter, more eco-friendly, and reliable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement comprehensive testing strategies based on business requirements
  • Design, create, and execute automated and manual test cases (functional and non-functional requirements)
  • Work with a programming team delivering client-ready solutions
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to improve release quality
  • Validate scenarios using physical laboratory hardware
  • Manage test execution and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with developers on identification, analysis, and resolution of software issues
  • Participate in cross-team activities to continuously improve QA processes and product reliability
  • Actively contribute to Agile delivery processes and promote best practices in software testing
  • Develop domain knowledge in Power Systems to support the full product lifecycle and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a mentor for team members and promote quality assurance principles across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software QA
  • Documented experience automating tests with Python
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and make quality-increasing decisions
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and test tools
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and Git
  • English at least B2

Preferred

  • Knowledge of communication protocols: OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, IEEE C37.118
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of BDD, including Gherkin
  • ISTQB certificate
  • Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing
  • Readiness to expand specialist knowledge of Power Systems (prior knowledge is an advantage)
