Description

We are looking for a person to support a project team in modernizing payments by building a cloud-ready payment platform based on microservices. Work is carried out within Scrum squads (up to 8–10 people per squad), supporting development and production operations. The role includes participation across the full lifecycle of user stories.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve problems (fast removal of incidents, root-cause analysis, reading documentation)
• Support development and maintain systems delivered by the squads in production
• Maintain systems (plan team and own work, monitor)
• Communicate effectively with business, maintenance teams, and development teams
• Work independently, be proactive, and show development directions
• Monitoring: define metrics/alerts in DT or other areas; develop technical and business monitoring
• Automation: propose verification process improvements by creating and enhancing automated tests; add and extend missing test types
• Code review
• Update documentation: create technical and business documentation for implemented changes
• Security: supervise vulnerabilities
• Onboarding/enablement of other team members
• Create new functionality according to requirements (to the development team)
• Expand existing functionality according to requirements
• Participate in the full lifecycle of a user story

Requirements

• Experience in working on a microservices system based on Kafka
• Ability to decompose requirements into tasks
• Ability to analyze documentation and business processes
• Ability to design solutions and collaborate with architects
