Role: Data Analyst for the rebuilding of a banking data warehouse.

Work mode: remote with periodic office meetings (possible locations: Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław) — details to be agreed during recruitment.

Description

You will analyze business requirements and translate them into solutions for data processing and data analytics within a banking data warehouse transformation.

You will perform data analysis in relational databases, identify data sources and data flows between systems, and prepare queries, reports, and analyses supporting business processes. You will also collaborate with IT teams, architects, and business stakeholders on designing and implementing data solutions, including ETL and data integration process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into data processing and analytics solutions
• Analyze data in relational databases using SQL and PL/SQL
• Identify data sources and analyze data flows between systems
• Prepare queries, reports, and analyses supporting business processes
• Collaborate with IT teams, architects, and business on designing and implementing data solutions
• Participate in designing and optimizing ETL processes and data integration using available tools

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in commercial projects
• Preferred: experience in the banking or finance domain
• Higher education in IT or a related field
• English proficiency at least B2
• Very good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL syntax
• Preferred: knowledge of ETL tools such as Abinitio, Talend, Informatica
• Preferred: knowledge of Teradata
