Description

This role focuses on developing and maintaining backend capabilities for the Sciworm digital product, which helps researchers manage laboratory workflows and share data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET and C#
• Design and implement reliable data access and persistence solutions using SQL
• Contribute to secure, maintainable application architecture
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and domain colleagues to translate user needs into technical solutions
• Support engineering quality through testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to delivery and deployment practices in the Azure ecosystem

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#
• Strong MS SQL skills, including working with relational data models and queries
• Experience developing or operating solutions in Microsoft Azure

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
• Experience with GitHub pipelines and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Vue 3 (frontend experience advantageous, not essential)
