Description

Join a team developing modern solutions for the insurance sector and impact the evolution of distributed IT systems supporting business processes in insurance. You should feel comfortable in the Java ecosystem (Spring, Kafka, SQL), with practical experience in DDD, distributed systems, and testing, and interest in applying AI in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate

• Design and implement scalable, resilient distributed systems, including Kafka-based integrations

• Implement solutions according to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and good software design practices

• Build and maintain unit and integration tests; ensure high quality, reliability, and security of delivered code

• Analyze and optimize application performance: diagnose issues and implement resilience mechanisms

• Use modern AI technologies and tools, including Agentic AI, in software design and development

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of programming in Java

• Very good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate

• Practical experience with Apache Kafka

• Very good knowledge of SQL

• Experience creating unit and integration tests; familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Testcontainers, WireMock

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and ability to apply its assumptions

• Ability to work with OOP and functional programming paradigms

• Knowledge of containerization concepts and experience with workflow engines and BPMN notation

• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for services in distributed systems

• Ability to diagnose and analyze application performance problems using appropriate tools
