Description

You will design, build, and optimize microservice-based components for a large-scale investment management platform. The work involves complex domain logic, high-volume financial data, and modern distributed architectures, collaborating with asset managers, business analysts, and quantitative developers to turn business requirements into robust, high-performance software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using .NET and ASP.NET Core
• Implement new features and enhancements for the portfolio management platform
• Collaborate with asset managers, business analysts, and quantitative developers to deliver technical solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
• Build scalable and reliable solutions for processing high-volume financial and market data
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions to evolve the platform
• Implement messaging and event-driven solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Amazon MQ)
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code using engineering best practices
• Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across distributed systems
• Work with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing commercial applications on the .NET platform
• Experience and strong understanding of .NET (including the latest versions) and ASP.NET Core
• Strong focus on new feature development (not legacy system support/maintenance)
• Experience developing applications based on microservices architecture
• Deep understanding of message brokers; hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Practical experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of web services and RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of DDD
• Good spoken English
