Description

Build automation workflows and self-service services using VMware vRealize Automation 8.x and vRealize Orchestrator, including XaaS offerings and integrations with external systems, while supporting platform development and CI/CD delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop new automation activities, workflows and service components
• Build and maintain workflows in vRealize Orchestrator and/or Cloud Assembly
• Develop and maintain XaaS services and self-service automation solutions
• Design and implement integrations with external applications and systems
• Support configuration, setup and development of the vRealize Automation platform
• Work based on technical documentation, requirements and implementation guidelines
• Support and mentor developers with less experience in vRealize Automation
• Contribute to CI/CD-based development and deployment processes
• Cooperate with technical teams and stakeholders on automation requirements and solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT, including strong experience in infrastructure and workflow automation
• Strong experience with VMware vRealize Automation 8.x, including its main components
• Very good hands-on experience with vRealize Orchestrator
• Experience in workflow automation and development of XaaS services
• Programming or scripting experience with at least one of: PowerShell, Python or JavaScript
• Good understanding of YAML and JSON
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and processes
• Experience with Bitbucket and Jira
• Understanding of Node.js
• Experience with self-service portals, service catalogues or similar platforms
• Experience integrating automation platforms with external applications and systems
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
