Azure Cloud Operations & Application Support Specialist – L3/L4

Description

You will support Azure operations by monitoring alerts, triaging critical issues, and managing identity and access lifecycle tasks. You will provision and debug cloud environments, troubleshoot network/API/gateway/storage problems, govern Azure cloud costs, and configure SSO plus internal documentation updates.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of the Azure dashboard via Atlassian tools; analyze high-priority alerts to differentiate false positives from critical infrastructure issues and create tasks when needed.
• Handle daily rotations of expiring secrets in App Registrations and certificates in Enterprise Applications.
• Provision and debug new ecosystems by setting up subscriptions, resources, and repositories.
• Investigate network communication failures (e.g., public vs. private endpoint conflicts), API Management errors, Application Gateway issues, and storage account errors.
• Monitor Azure subscription budget overruns, identify responsible parties, and facilitate limit increases through the Cloud Team.
• Configure SSO for Enterprise Applications and update internal documentation to capture corner cases and new alert-handling procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure cloud operations
• Experience in Azure Cloud and DevOps maintenance and support
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure Portal, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Storage Accounts
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Practical knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD (App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, SSO)
• Experience with Atlassian / Jira and MS Teams
• Knowledge of Bash and basic Python
• Experience with MS Graph API
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor / Dashboard
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
