Description

Develop and maintain application features across Android, web, and backend, while extending data ingestion/transformation workflows and AWS infrastructure. You will translate product and business requirements into technical solutions, implement changes end-to-end (including validation and deployment), and maintain automated testing and code quality.

Your daily responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application functionality across Android, web and backend components (Kotlin, TypeScript, Python).
• Build and extend data ingestion and transformation workflows, including SQL-based processing and data quality checks; contribute to analytical outputs and dashboards.
• Implement integrations between applications, APIs and data sources; use serialization formats and schemas; troubleshoot issues across system boundaries.
• Extend AWS infrastructure and delivery workflows, including serverless components, Terraform configuration, Docker-based workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain clean, maintainable, well-documented, testable code; keep unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews; improve security, reliability, observability and performance.
• Collaborate on technical design decisions and take ownership through implementation, validation and deployment.

Requirements

• Strong commercial software development experience in at least one of TypeScript, Python or Kotlin.
• Solid track record in web/backend applications, data processing solutions or Android development.
• Practical experience in a second programming language or technical domain.
• Software engineering fundamentals: software design, automated testing, debugging, maintainable code.
• Working understanding of APIs, SQL, data modelling, and asynchronous processing.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and make safe, well-understood changes.
• Practical experience with cloud-based applications, Git, Docker and CI/CD; understanding of the relationship between code, deployment configuration and infrastructure.
• AWS and Terraform experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on willingness across mobile, frontend, backend, data processing and infrastructure-related tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; good command of English.

• Data analysis and BI: Jupyter, pandas/NumPy, statistical analysis, ML fundamentals, Apache Superset.
• Cloud / Serverless: AWS Glue, S3, RDS, Athena, IAM, AWS Lambda (Python), Lambda Powertools, X-Ray, Lambda layers, API Gateway, EventBridge.
• Infrastructure and delivery: Terraform, Docker, Bitbucket Pipelines CI/CD.
• Integration and schemas: Protobuf, JSON Schema.

Our offer

• Remuneration: 1.100 - 1.300 PLN net/day on a B2B Contract or 17.000 - 21.000 PLN gross/month on Employment Agreement (UoP), depending on experience and technical expertise.
