QA Engineer

Description

The project focuses on developing and maintaining an integration layer that enables seamless communication and data exchange between core systems and multiple external platforms, ensuring reliable and efficient support of business processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure backend system reliability and performance through rigorous functional and non-functional API testing.
• Own and drive the end-to-end user quality experience across web and backend platforms.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Test new features and provide actionable feedback to software development and IT teams.
• Collaborate on test strategies, including detailed API and integration testing approaches.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues, document findings, and work with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Suggest software quality improvements and optimize API testing processes.

Must-haves

• 3+ years of experience in software testing roles.
• Ability to create API requests, review and improve API documentation, and design test scenarios covering functional, non-functional, performance, and reliability aspects.
• Experience designing and executing test strategies for APIs, integrations, and database-level validations.
• Hands-on testing experience with modern web applications and eCommerce platforms built with technologies such as React, PHP, and Go.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and workflows.
• Understanding of backend systems, databases, SQL, and system architecture fundamentals.
• Ability to plan, design, and execute tests for frontend UI and backend services.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools, such as Claude, to generate and review test scenarios, automation test scenarios, test cases, and QA documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output, identify gaps and edge cases, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Experience using AI to improve testing efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
