Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across API (REST Assured), web UI (Selenide), and mobile (Appium) layers.
  • Perform manual testing where required, including mobile-specific scenarios such as responsiveness, permissions, OS/version coverage, and lifecycle testing.
  • Analyze application logs to identify, localize, and help troubleshoot defects.
  • Represent and enforce testing principles within the assigned development team and contribute to the team's quality assurance mindset.
  • Contribute to accessibility (A11Y) testing efforts where applicable.
  • Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter and provide optimization recommendations based on results.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of QA Engineering experience.
  • Java experience, including object-oriented design, test automation framework development, clean and reusable code, and JUnit, TestNG, Maven, or Gradle.
  • REST Assured experience for automated REST API testing, including HTTP methods, status codes, JSON structures, authentication mechanisms, and parameterized API test cases.
  • Selenide experience for automated web UI testing, including the Page Object Model and JUnit/TestNG integration.
  • Appium experience for automated Android/iOS mobile testing, including emulators/simulators, native and hybrid apps, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI; ability to read API specifications and independently build test collections.
  • Log analysis experience and ability to independently identify or localize defects from logs.
  • Mobile testing experience covering responsiveness, permissions, screen sizes, OS versions, and application lifecycle testing.
  • Intermediate+ English.

Nice-to-haves

  • ISTQB, AWS, Oracle, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Accessibility (A11Y) testing experience, inclusive design principles, WCAG Level A, and tools such as TalkBack, VoiceOver, NVDA, or JAWS.
