On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Android Audio Platform Engineer to join a team focused on hands-on audio platform development, integration, debugging, and validation across multiple hardware variants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate the Android Audio platform within embedded systems.
• Perform low-level audio debugging and validation on target hardware and test benches.
• Independently resolve complex issues across both software and hardware layers.
• Integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot end-to-end audio pipelines.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven background in Android platform development and Android Audio framework/architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Audio HAL, C/C++, and Embedded Linux.
• Hands-on expertise in low-level audio technologies, including ALSA, drivers, codecs, and DSP integration.
• Solid experience in embedded audio integration and troubleshooting directly on target hardware.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Automotive Infotainment systems.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm SoC architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Audio DSPs or AudioWeaver.
• Background in hardware architecture or acoustics.
