Mid-Level Full Stack Developer – Java, Kotlin & React

Hybrid work model with up to 3 remote days per week.

Role Description

As a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, you will work within the Global Markets Technology sector, developing and supporting critical financial applications. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and contribute to projects driving digital transformation in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of 4–6 members and a dedicated product owner to deliver iterative features to production.
• Analyze business requirements, break them into stories, and implement solutions.
• Support deployed applications following a “build it, support it” approach.
• Identify technical debt and balance new functionality with system health.
• Design compliant solutions for new features within technology standards and constraints.
• Pair with team members to improve code quality and share knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience, ideally in financial technology.
• Demonstrable experience with Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript/React on both client and server sides.
• Good understanding of Unix environments and database concepts from a consumer perspective.
• Familiarity with HTTP APIs, including RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and SQL.
• Willingness to learn multiple programming languages.
• Good command of English; team communication is conducted in English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript/React.
• Experience with Kotlin.
