Cybersecurity Service Resilience Splunk ITSI Engineer

Hybrid work model: 6 days per month in the office.

Global Cybersecurity Technology and Engineering is responsible for building, deploying and engineering technologies that protect the company. The function ensures high standards of availability and security across cybersecurity tooling and maintains technical capability.

Role purpose

We’re hiring a hands-on engineer to deliver observability solutions and help Cyber teams adopt CTO-provided tooling and technologies. This development-focused role involves writing code or queries, onboarding systems into observability platforms, developing features, and partnering with global stakeholders to implement observability solutions.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Splunk ITSI solutions, ensuring reliable monitoring and automation actions.
• Deploy solutions within Splunk or through dedicated pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Work closely with CTO tool teams to identify gaps, clarify benefits for Cyber stakeholders, and support adoption through integration and enablement.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements using CTO platforms and tools.

What you’ll bring (Essential)

• Strong hands-on experience developing solutions in Splunk, including data onboarding, queries, dashboards, scheduled tasks and searches, apps, add-ons, and related capabilities.
• Experience with Splunk ITSI, including services, entities, KPIs, episodes, and other ITSI features, is preferred.
• Scripting knowledge with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Ability to work across teams to deliver observability solutions end-to-end, from requirements and data onboarding to use-case onboarding.
• Fluent spoken and written English and the ability to communicate effectively with global teams across time zones.
• Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills.
