Wroclaw-based opportunity with an on-site work model, allowing up to 5 remote days per week.

As a Senior AI Security Engineer – Machine Learning & Infrastructure, you will secure AI systems, including large language models, AI tooling, agents, and supporting infrastructure. Your work will help ensure the safe, scalable adoption of AI solutions.

Your main responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to define and implement security measures for AI- and LLM-based systems.
  • Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments tailored to AI use cases.
  • Design and implement security controls for AI applications, agents, model integrations, and data flows.
  • Define secure patterns for access control, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and safe execution.
  • Assess risks including prompt injection, data leakage, excessive permissions, and third-party AI dependencies.
  • Contribute reusable security patterns, guidance, and guardrails for teams building AI systems.
  • Support security testing, vendor assessments, and incident response related to AI-enabled applications.

You're ideal for this role if you have

  • At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, security, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of security controls across applications, infrastructure, and platforms.
  • Expertise in threat modeling, secure design review, and secure software development practices.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, secrets management, and observability practices.
  • Experience reviewing third-party SaaS, APIs, and open-source components from a security perspective.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced engineering environments with a practical problem-solving approach.
  • Interest and curiosity about AI systems, especially security risks associated with LLMs, agents, and complex data workflows.

It is a strong plus if you have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Practical experience with security testing, vendor assessments, or incident response in AI contexts.
  • Knowledge of secure development lifecycle methodologies.

Language Required for the role

  • Fluent English.
