Senior DevOps, Alibaba Cloud

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting the project, working within an Alibaba Cloud environment. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and reliable platform operations through infrastructure automation, CI/CD, environment management, and operational support.

Working closely with engineering, architecture, and project stakeholders, you will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of DevOps practices, helping ensure platform stability, deployment efficiency, and operational resilience across the project.

Responsibilities

• Use, write, and update reusable IaC in Terraform.
• Administer and optimize Alibaba Cloud services such as Alibaba Cloud Web Apps, Function Compute, and Key Management Service (KMS).
• Manage and optimize Message Queue and Alibaba Cloud Logic Apps.
• Use, write, and update Alibaba Cloud DevOps pipelines, mostly YAML pipelines.
• Monitor running environments in Alibaba Cloud and make adjustments when needed.
• Take care of releases (STG, PRD) and improve the deployment process.
• Act as a key contributor in the DevOps Chapter, taking part in initiatives, presenting ideas, and democratically voting on the implementation of new changes.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience working with Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD using Alibaba Cloud DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with Terraform.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
