AI Analyst

The AI Analyst supports the delivery and execution of artificial intelligence initiatives across manufacturing and plant operations. The role works with Global IT, plant teams, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and business teams to identify, pilot, and scale AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.

This is an entry-level position for candidates with foundational knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML who are interested in applying technology to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support AI and automation projects aligned with business and plant priorities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, business teams, and IT to identify AI use cases, including predictive maintenance, quality analytics, and process optimization.
  • Assist with data collection, cleansing, and preparation for AI models and analytics solutions.
  • Analyze operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help develop and validate basic machine-learning models, dashboards, and automation workflows.
  • Participate in pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives in plant environments.
  • Document AI models, processes, and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and scalability.
  • Support monitoring and maintenance of deployed AI solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or a related technical role; internships are accepted.
  • Basic understanding of machine-learning concepts and data-analysis techniques.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Excel, or similar data and analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial processes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Basic understanding of automation tools, including Power Automate and scripting.
  • Interest in applying AI to operational efficiency and plant performance.
