Senior Automation Developer (OutSystems)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Developer (OutSystems) to design, develop, integrate, and technically lead enterprise-grade applications and workflow automation solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on OutSystems expertise combined with solid knowledge of application architecture, APIs, databases, enterprise integrations, cloud technologies, and automation platforms. The candidate is expected to take technical ownership of delivered solutions, support less experienced developers, and contribute to architecture and development standards.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex enterprise applications using OutSystems.
• Take technical ownership of OutSystems solutions from design through production support.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Define application architecture, module structure, reusable components, and development standards.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and integrate OutSystems with enterprise applications.
• Design data models, business logic, workflows, and integration layers.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with OutSystems development, security, and architecture best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Support CI/CD, release management, and deployment activities across environments.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Integration Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Identify opportunities for RPA, AI/GenAI, and intelligent automation.

Requirements

Experience

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on OutSystems development experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex and business-critical OutSystems applications.
• Experience acting as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or technical owner of application components.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and enterprise development standards.
