SAP Portal Specialist

Contract: B2B, initial 3-month contract with possibility of extension

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Portal Specialist to join a managed service team responsible for the central One Portal landscape, encompassing company-wide SAP Portal/Fiori services used by all end users. The engagement combines strategic small-project work with operational support, including rotating duties for the Inbox Manager role.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, configure, customize, and deploy new and existing central One Portal services.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual portal upgrade.
• Deliver small projects and changes to integrate new applications into One Portal or extend existing integrations.
• Act as Inbox Manager on a rotating basis, handling mailbox requests and user support.
• Provide bug fixing and support within One Portal.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAP Portal on-premise, SAP Cloud Portal, and SAP Fiori technologies.
• Diverse background in planning and coordinating SAP Fiori app implementations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and Java) and SAP Web Dispatcher.
• Strong troubleshooting and third-level support expertise for SAP Portal and Fiori Front-End Server.
• Deep knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and configuration.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Knowledge Management.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Workflow and its integration into the My Inbox functionality.
