SAP CO Senior Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP CO Consultant / Application Lead to support a large S/4HANA transformation program.

The role combines strong SAP CO functional expertise, FI–CO integration knowledge, application maintenance, testing, and involvement in migration activities.

You will work closely with business and IT teams, supporting both ongoing system operations and S/4HANA preparation, testing, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

SAP CO / FI Functional Expertise

• Act as senior SAP CO expert with focus on Overhead Management (OM)
• Work with Profit Center Accounting, Investment Management, and Project System
• Ensure strong FI–CO integration understanding and support related processes

S/4HANA Transformation

• Analyse existing CO objects for S/4HANA compatibility
• Review SAP simplification items and perform impact analysis
• Support custom code analysis and system adjustments
• Participate in migration and integration testing (FAT, UAT, BAT)
• Support cutover planning and go-live activities

Application Maintenance & Incident Support

• Handle complex CO/FI incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Execute functional debugging and coordinate fixes with technical teams
• Support system stability and ongoing maintenance activities

Testing & Delivery

• Design and execute functional and integration test scenarios
• Coordinate business acceptance testing with stakeholders
• Ensure traceability between requirements, defects, and test cases

Solution Design & Business Support

• Translate business requirements into CO solution designs
• Support workshops and clarify functional requirements
• Contribute to effort estimation and implementation planning

Enhancements & Projects

• Support CO stream in new company code implementations
• Contribute to planning process improvements (costs & revenues)
• Support interface integration and system harmonization initiatives

Requirements

• Senior SAP CO experience (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Overhead Management (OM)
• Experience with PC, IM, PS modules
• SAP FI knowledge (mid-level) with strong FI–CO integration understanding
• Experience in SAP incident analysis and functional testing
• Experience with S/4HANA migration or readiness activities (nice to have)
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and transport management (nice to have)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and complex environments
