DevOps Engineer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team. With over 5 years of experience in platform engineering and a deep understanding of container-based platforms, you will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and securing infrastructure. Your expertise with Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker, and automation tools will drive innovation and improve operational capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and define platform requirements for applications.
• Plan, deploy, and configure Kubernetes clusters and container-based platforms.
• Design and implement automated software deployment and distribution processes.
• Perform containerization of applications and legacy systems.
• Implement security best practices for platform services.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth go-live transitions.
• Maintain system documentation and provide knowledge transfer to managed service providers.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering and container platforms.
• Experience in Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker, and Java (Oracle, OpenJDK, JBoss EAP/Tomcat).
• Automation skills with Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Knowledge on Flux and Kustomizations, RBCS, NetPols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Concourse, Ansible Automation Platform, Artifactory).
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 processes and service management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Load Balancers, TLS Certificates, Firewall Rules, Networking Zoning.
• Expertise in monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace, Grafana.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
