SharePoint & Cloud Deployment Engineer

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint & Cloud Deployment Engineer to join an international project supporting Frontex and the IRMA 2.0 platform. The role combines application build and deployment, cloud environment management, system integration, monitoring, and technical coordination.

You will work closely with ICT teams, project teams, and external technology partners, supporting the delivery and stable operation of application environments in an international and multicultural environment.

Our expectations

• Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a related or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) in an ICT-related field.
• Mastery of SharePoint and SharePoint platform-specific tools.
• Excellent knowledge of software deployment management.
• Good knowledge of software release management.
• Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of application servers.
• Knowledge of building and deployment tools, such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.
• Knowledge of development tools.
• Knowledge of RDBMS.
• English at B2 level.
• Capability to work in an international/multicultural environment.

Key tasks

• Support the ICT team with application building, integration, and deployment, covering backend systems and client devices, including mobile and PC environments.
• Support the management, configuration, and maintenance of system environments.
• Support project teams during system testing and deployment activities.
• Monitor and analyse system operation on a daily basis.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and overall health.
• Identify, report, and coordinate technical issues related to system environments.
• Act as a technical point of contact between Frontex ICT and external system vendors/contractors, coordinating resolution of technical issues.
• Support ICT teams and project teams with deployment and management of development environments in Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to effective software deployment and release processes within an Agile/RUP environment.
