Senior/Lead Business Analyst

Hybrid work arrangement with 2–3 days onsite in Warsaw.

Compensation: 130–180 PLN net/hour + VAT on a B2B contract.

Full-time role in an international environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a global technology organization focused on enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product teams, and developers to understand business needs, define requirements, and ensure successful delivery of scalable solutions. You will play a key role in connecting business objectives with technology capabilities while supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives involving data, integrations, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, research, and stakeholder meetings.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable documentation, including:
  • User Stories
  • Functional Specifications
  • Business Requirements
  • Use Cases
  • Process Flows
  • Data Mapping Specifications
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirements to delivered solutions.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and subject matter experts to design and deliver effective solutions.
• Support cross-platform and cross-domain initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment across products and services.
• Analyze data structures, data flows, integrations, and business rules.
• Gather and document information related to data formats, APIs, SLAs, triggering mechanisms, and data ownership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help remove delivery roadblocks when needed.

Requirements

Must Have

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Lead Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience working in Agile environments: Scrum, Kanban, and Spotify Model.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and Product Owners.
• Solid understanding of business processes and technology-driven solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Databricks or similar data platforms, XML, and JSON.

Nice to Have

• Experience in large-scale international or matrix organizations.
• Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries.
• Knowledge of TMS (Transport Management Systems).
• Experience with data mapping and data attribute analysis.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics concepts.
• Exposure to digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
• Basic Python or programming skills.
