Description

Join an international team delivering complex solutions in the banking and financial services sector. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, combining business analysis expertise with an understanding of data platforms, system integrations, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to data-intensive initiatives across Investment Banking, Risk, Credit, and Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business and technical analysis for change initiatives across banking, data, and risk platforms.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prepare business requirements, user stories, API specifications, data mappings, and interface documentation.
  • Perform data analysis to understand source-to-target data flows, data quality, reconciliation rules, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Architects and Development teams on solution design, integration patterns, and system behavior.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Define test scenarios, validate delivered solutions, and support UAT and regression testing activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Credit, Regulatory, Trading, and other financial domains.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, 3-Amigos sessions, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Maintain project and requirements documentation using Jira and Confluence.
  • Support regulatory and compliance-driven change initiatives throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services or Investment Banking.
  • Proven experience with data-intensive and integration-driven systems.
  • Experience within Risk, Credit, Regulatory Reporting, Trade Lifecycle, Capital Markets, or related banking domains.
  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance-driven transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Data analysis skills, including hands-on SQL for data investigation and validation.
  • Understanding of data models, data warehouses, and source-to-target data flows.
  • Experience with APIs and system integrations, including REST APIs and message-based interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
  • Very good English skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure-based data platforms.
  • Knowledge of Databricks or other cloud-based data technologies.
  • Experience working closely with QA teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience coordinating UAT activities.
  • Exposure to regulatory testing within banking or financial services.
  • Understanding of modern cloud architectures.
