Automation Engineer

About the Project

We build and develop a growing portfolio of n8n-based automations used across the organization, including finance, project management, QA, software development, and IT support.

Our solutions range from simple integrations to multi-stage automation pipelines involving business logic, corporate systems, databases, and AI/LLM components. We already have dozens of automations in production, and new projects are continuously being added.

We are looking for someone who will help us design, build, and develop these solutions from the initial idea through implementation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation workflows in n8n
• Build multi-stage pipelines and sub-workflows
• Develop business logic using Node.js or Python
• Integrate automations with internal and external systems, including APIs
• Work with systems and tools such as Jira, GitLab, SharePoint, PostgreSQL, and Excel/XLSX
• Implement AI and LLM components in business processes
• Debug, maintain, and optimize existing automations
• Respond to production issues and changes in external APIs
• Work with specifications and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Review code and support deployments through GitLab and CI/CD processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in n8n, Node.js, or Python
• Practical experience in automation and system integrations
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js or Python
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and authentication
• Practical knowledge of n8n and workflow design
• Understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with Git and code review workflows
• Understanding of error handling, retries, timeouts, logging, and debugging
• Practical understanding of LLMs and AI-assisted development
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with business and technical teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level at minimum)

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMs in production environments
• Experience with Cursor, Cline, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools
• Experience with RPA or enterprise automation
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, Vault, Liquibase, or Langfuse

Recruitment Process

• Recruiter interview (30 minutes, MS Teams)
• Take-home technical assignment
• Technical interview (60 minutes, MS Teams)
• Trial period: 3 months
