Lead Agentic AI Engineer (Frontend)

What’s the role?

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Frontend to join the Reference Agent team, building and integrating frontend experiences that showcase AI-driven products to partners. You will bridge the platform and its customers by owning frontend solutions delivered to partners, collaborating across teams, and championing a polished AI experience from the user’s perspective.

This role combines deep frontend craft with a product-minded, customer-embedded approach. You will rapidly iterate on reference clients and integration patterns, work across mobile or web frameworks, and contribute directly to the agentic product.

Main responsibilities

Partner-Facing Frontend Development

• Design, build, and maintain frontend solutions integrated into partner products.
• Own the quality and UX of reference clients that demonstrate the AI experience.

Reference Agent Team Contribution

• Develop reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and session-handling flows for agentic workflows.
• Contribute frontend expertise to the agentic product roadmap.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Ambassadorship

• Work with a customer-focused mindset and collaborate with product, backend, design, and partner engineering teams.
• Act as an ambassador for how the full AI experience should behave from a user perspective.

Rapid Experimentation & Iteration

• Prototype, test, and ship quickly.
• Evaluate trade-offs between performance, UX, and reliability across frontend platforms and agentic interaction patterns.

Technical Leadership

• Drive architectural decisions for frontend integration patterns.
• Define reusable, scalable approaches.
• Mentor peers and set quality standards for partner-facing code.

Who are you?

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong production experience with frontend technologies such as Flutter, Kotlin with Compose Framework, or React/TypeScript, with willingness to learn the others as needed.
• Familiarity with agentic AI products, LLM-driven workflows, or AI-powered user experiences; hands-on work with agentic systems is a strong plus.
• Hands-on, focused mindset with a strong bias for data-driven execution and comfort moving quickly from idea to implementation.
