Test Analyst

Introduction & Summary

This role requires a Test Analyst with over 5 years of experience testing complex custom-built full-stack .NET web applications. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and holds a relevant testing certification, such as ISTQB or equivalent. Responsibilities include ensuring software quality and managing defects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive testing of software solutions to identify and manage issues effectively.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Develop, manage, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Manage test planning, coordination, and execution; log and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Validate changes against business requirements in the apprenticeship system.
• Support regression testing and release validation.
• Contribute to test documentation and process improvement.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of testing experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Relevant testing certification (ISTQB or equivalent).
• Experience testing full-stack .NET web applications.
• Test data management skills.
• Proficiency in writing Playwright automated tests.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate defects and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Knowledge of SQL for running queries and updating data.

• Experience liaising with development teams on incidents and fixes.
• Experience supporting end users of the custom full-stack system through support tickets.
