We support two key efforts: developing a next-generation, highly secure video camera product and sustaining our market-leading product line. Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong technical background, hands-on experience testing embedded software, and solid knowledge of wired and wireless networking technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning new technologies, continuously improving their skills, and sharing knowledge with others.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform requirements analysis for embedded device functionality in the connectivity domain.
  • Design and maintain test coverage for new features and device functionality.
  • Analyze and improve existing test coverage.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and traceability matrices.
  • Execute test cases according to established test plans.
  • Report, track, and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Prepare and communicate test execution reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new functionality and enhance existing features.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Connectivity Lab and testing equipment, including Wi-Fi infrastructure, cellular base stations, and related hardware.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing, with hands-on experience testing embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and experience creating test documentation.
  • Experience in Linux/UNIX environments, including command-line tools and log analysis.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including the OSI model, wired and wireless networking technologies.
  • Understanding of embedded systems principles.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems.
  • Ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware, and hardware.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work from the office in Wrocław.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing networking or IoT devices.
  • Experience with cellular networking technologies: 3G, LTE, GNSS, BLE, LoRa, and LMR.
  • Network security knowledge: firewalls, VPN, wireless security, and traffic encryption.
  • Experience with audio/video data streaming.
  • Linux scripting with Bash, Zsh, and Python.
