SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Developer

Summary

The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Developer role is vital for enhancing master data processes and ensuring data quality across business and IT domains.

Main Responsibilities

• Support SAP MDG solutions, including workflow, data models, change requests, validations, derivations, and UI.
• Configure and develop MDG objects and processes using ABAP/OO, BRF+, enhancements/BAdIs, user exits, and UI based on predefined designs.
• Conduct unit tests and produce technical documentation to maintain code quality.
• Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems, including ECC, CRM, and middleware.
• Collaborate with IT teams, solution owners, and consultants to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide L1/L2/L3 support and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure stability.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG configuration and development.
• Experience with BRF+, MDG workflow, and data replication/integration concepts.
• Solid understanding of master data processes, including governance, lifecycle, and data quality.
• Good knowledge of SAP data models and tables relevant to Material.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across business and IT.
• Fluent English.
• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional SAP modules beyond MDG.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics tools for data governance.
• Project management experience in data-centric projects.
