SAP MDG Functional Architect

We are looking for a SAP MDG Functional Architect to join a technology consulting project delivering a SAP Master Data Governance solution in a global, multi-vendor environment. You will shape enterprise-wide data governance processes across customer, vendor, and intercompany domains. This client-facing role offers ownership of complex solution design, collaboration with international teams in an agile setup, and the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate future-state master data governance processes aligned with transformation goals.
• Drive process reengineering initiatives and define governance workflows and data quality standards.
• Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend optimal SAP MDG solutions.
• Configure and support MDG domains, including customer, vendor, and intercompany data.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution architecture.
• Provide overarching governance for SAP MDG solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of functional experience in SAP MDG, including hands-on configuration.
• Strong understanding of business processes in customer, vendor, and intercompany domains.
• Proven expertise in data governance frameworks and master data management principles.
• Experience performing fit-gap analysis and translating business needs into solution designs.
• Familiarity with SAP MDG architecture and integration scenarios.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-country environments.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing engagements.
• Proficiency in English with B2+ level fluency.
