Lead Infrastructure Engineer with French

We are seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with French to take ownership of the design, governance, and delivery of advanced automation solutions across enterprise environments. The position combines technical leadership, solution architecture, operational management, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality automation services that meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex automation solutions using enterprise automation platforms, ensuring they meet business and customer expectations.
  • Conduct technical studies and assessments, support project planning, and prepare reliable estimates of effort, costs, and potential risks.
  • Supervise project delivery and operational activities, maintaining compliance with SLAs, quality and security standards, budgets, and agreed timelines.
  • Serve as a trusted partner for customers and stakeholders by contributing to governance sessions, solution evaluations, and pre-sales activities, including proposal preparation and solution scoping.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, security, data integrity, and compliance while continuously improving operational processes and automation practices.
  • Lead and coordinate technical teams, supporting their development, mentoring team members, encouraging knowledge sharing, and building a high-performing work environment.
  • Work closely with architects, transformation teams, vendors, and external partners to assess technologies, verify proposed solutions, and support innovation initiatives.
  • Identify and monitor operational and project risks, handle escalations and incident response, and provide strategic recommendations to improve infrastructure, automation capabilities, and overall service delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in advanced automation platforms and related technologies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex automated solutions.
  • Experience with project assessments, work package definition, and solution planning.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, operations, and service management.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, governance, and security frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
  • Good understanding of SLA-based service delivery and operational governance.
  • Previous experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create clear documentation and effectively transfer knowledge.
  • Very good knowledge of French and English (minimum B2) due to daily communication with the client.
  • Willingness to take occasional international business trips and regularly visit the office in Katowice.

Nice to have

  • TOGAF or an equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • Additional certifications related to Automation, Cloud, Security, or Infrastructure Architecture are an advantage.
