A dedicated Data Engineering team in Krakow is being scaled to drive a major enterprise cloud consolidation onto a modern GCP and Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture.

What you’ll be doing

• Build and optimize batch and real-time streams on GCP using BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Run, and Kafka.
• Implement dbt models and Medallion patterns to enable trusted self-service analytics across global business units.
• Set up data contracts, lineage tracking, and observability tools in a high-scale environment.
• Support feature engineering, pipeline reproducibility, and freshness guarantees for Data Science teams.

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and production GCP data tools.
• Solid background in Apache Kafka or similar streaming technology for event-driven ingestion.
• Experience with dbt and Medallion architecture patterns.
• Quality-first mindset focused on observability, data contracts, and SLO monitoring.
• Comfort working in a high-scale, structured, or regulated environment.
