Application Security Coordinator

Role overview

We are looking for an Application Security Coordinator to coordinate and drive remediation of security findings coming from penetration tests and vulnerability scans.

This role acts as a central technical coordinator, ensuring that identified vulnerabilities are properly assessed, prioritised, and resolved in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

• Coordination of security testing outcomes
• Vulnerability assessment and prioritisation
• Driving remediation
• Stakeholder management and communication
• Establishing and following governance and reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security
• Experience with vulnerability scans and penetration test reports
• Ability to assess risk and prioritise work
• Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills
• Familiarity with Jira

Must-have knowledge and experience

Technical Competence

• Solid understanding of application and infrastructure security and vulnerability management processes
• Ability to interpret penetration testing reports and vulnerability scan outputs
• Knowledge of CVE, CWE, and CVSS standards

Coordination & Governance

• Strong ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
• Experience in driving remediation activities in a structured manner
• Analytical approach to risk assessment and prioritisation

Communication

• Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

• Experience in banking will be an asset
