Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development
• Strong commercial experience with C++, including modern C++
• Experience developing desktop applications using Qt and QML
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns
• Experience working with large codebases and long-term software projects, as well as smaller and more agile projects
• Familiarity with version control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in an international environment
• English proficiency at C1 level, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows and/or macOS development environments
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience supporting technical decisions and leading development teams
• Experience with Proof of Concept initiatives
• Python programming skills
• Docker knowledge
• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop or embedded applications using Qt/QML and modern C++
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver new features
• Drive architectural and technical decisions
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices
• Support and mentor other developers
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a large, established codebase
• Work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions
• Participate in Agile development processes
