ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP solutions within logistics-related projects.
• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and application support initiatives for local and international clients.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP developments while ensuring high coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by analyzing existing code and proposing effective improvements.
• Contribute technical expertise during project workshops, meetings, and client discussions.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex development topics.
• Continuously improve development practices and suggest innovative technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
• Strong practical knowledge of ABAP programming and software development best practices.
• Experience building and maintaining object-oriented solutions in commercial SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integration and development technologies such as RFC, IDoc, SOAP, OData, ICF, WebDynpro, UI5, FPM, or SAP Business Application Studio.
• Experience working with SAP forms: Adobe Forms, SmartForms, or SAPscript.
• Experience working on SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and/or SAP TM (Transportation Management) projects is a strong advantage.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including debugging and optimizing existing SAP applications.
• Experience performing code reviews and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Good understanding of clean code principles and object-oriented design concepts.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within international project teams.
• Fluency in at least two of the following languages: English, Polish, or German.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
