Senior Data engineer

About the project

The primary focus is shared data infrastructure services on Snowflake, including tooling for GDPR deletion and takeout requests and metadata/cataloguing integrations for internal data sources.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and rebuild the deletions and takeout request workflow, a common service used by teams to process data subject requests against Snowflake.
• Implement the workflow to match defined and agreed data-handling requirements.
• Build additional metadata/cataloguing integrations for data sources.
• Work independently with minimal ramp-up support while the core team is committed to other priorities.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow.
• Experience with AWS.
• Solid data engineering pipeline experience.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Comfort working independently in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment with legacy systems and evolving requirements.

Contract period

• Start date: September/October 2026.
• End date: December 2026.
• Remote work within Sweden is possible, with occasional office visits required.
