Description

Solution Architects are the key link between the organization and clients. This technical leadership role unites and guides client stakeholders, governance, project executives, delivery teams, and sometimes client vendors.

You will support projects from the start by understanding needs and determining the best technical solution, through to delivery of the right product on time and within budget.

As a Solutions Architect – Modernization, you will bring vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. You will consult with clients early, gather inputs, understand solution requirements, define the available solution, design the best approach, and lead the technical implementation.

The role supports major cloud platforms and involves engaging subject-matter experts outside your area of expertise when needed. Working around existing limitations will develop creativity and flexibility, with opportunities to build knowledge and pursue certifications.

You will influence, create, and deliver solutions from start to finish, with the opportunity to delight clients.

Your Future

This role offers vertical and horizontal career paths and may include travel opportunities. It is an opportunity for database administrators and other technical professionals to move into cloud work, as well as a path toward enterprise architect, chief architect, or distinguished engineer roles.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Solid understanding of data center systems, storage, networking and security, applications, and databases
• Understanding of systems and solutions architecture
• Hands-on experience and learning with data center technologies, cloud software, and interoperability

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
• Lead agentic AI-driven network modernization for autonomous, self-healing secure edge and connectivity
• Expertise in Palo Alto, Zscaler, Illumio, and Guardicore, with strong DevNetOps and DevSecOps skills
• Agentic AI-led implementation and operations for SDN, SD-WAN, SASE, and zero-trust for real-time optimization and security
