Lead AI Solutions Engineer

For our client's project, we are looking for an experienced Lead AI Solution Engineer to design and build reusable skills for Claude Code.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering, prompt and context engineering, and business process automation for a global leader in the consulting market.

Working Hours: European business hours

Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with business stakeholders: Direct contact with stakeholders and domain experts to understand their goals, processes, constraints, and expected outcomes.
• Requirements analysis: Analyzing documentation, templates, examples, and reference materials provided by the client.
• Use case identification: Identifying workflows and processes that can be automated or enhanced using Claude Code Skills.
• Design and implementation: Creating, testing, and maintaining reusable skills (Claude Code Skills), clear instructions, helper scripts, and validation logic.
• Translating business processes for AI: Translating complex or ambiguous business processes into structured, executable instructions for AI agents.
• Evaluation and optimization: Testing skill behavior based on realistic scenarios and acceptance criteria, continuously improving accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience using Claude Code in real-world software engineering or business scenarios.
• Experience in building Claude Code Skills or equivalent, reusable modules for AI-based coding agents.
• Excellent understanding of modern AI engineering patterns: agentic workflows, tool use, prompt engineering, context engineering, and structured instruction design.
• Proven track record in traditional software engineering, including building, reviewing, testing, and maintaining production-grade code.
• Ability to translate complex domain knowledge and business requirements into clear technical architecture.
• Ability to evaluate and optimize non-deterministic AI/LLM-based systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing plugins, extensions, or MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for Claude Code.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation and testing tools, such as promptfoo, LangSmith, or custom in-house solutions.
• Experience working in consulting or professional services.
• Domain knowledge in HR Tech, compensation and benefits, payroll systems, or workforce analytics.
• Experience in building internal developer tooling or developer platform engineering.
• Public technical portfolio, such as open-source AI agent projects, published skills or plugins, conference talks, or technical articles.
