Senior Android Developer (large scale app)

Role areas

• Development of a large-scale native Android application: build and maintain features in a mobile app with over 10M users, expand into new European markets, and focus on performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Mobile CI/CD and DevEx: design, implement and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines; automate builds and deployment; and optimise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Code quality and architecture: refactor existing code, participate in code reviews and team decisions, and build scalable, maintainable solutions based on MVVM and Clean Architecture.

What you need to join us

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of Android development experience, including expert knowledge of the Android SDK, different system versions and device configurations, and experience optimising apps in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, Android Architecture Components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM and Clean Architecture, Firebase configuration, and REST API integration.
• Experience designing and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or equivalent, accelerating builds and ensuring high availability and scalability of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in a foundation/platform team supporting a DevEx culture.
• Knowledge of Git, JIRA, Confluence, code review processes and Agile methodologies, with English at a minimum B2 level.
• Eligibility to work within Poland (citizenship, residence card, visa, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience working with LLMs or agentic workflows that accelerate the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Android WebView, including embedding and integrating web content in a native enterprise app; native-to-JavaScript bridge, session and authentication handling, navigation, performance, and security hardening.
• Experience with internationalisation and localisation of mobile apps, including multi-region, multi-language and per-market configuration.
