Junior Java Developer

The project is in the finance/stock exchange industry and involves creating a web portal to manage financial accounts and make financial investments. Agile teams use modern technologies to ensure an appropriate level of security.

Responsibilities

• Work on ambitious projects using modern technologies and standards.
• Generate and maintain code in line with coding standards and best practices.
• Design technical solutions for new functionality and maintain existing functionality.
• Investigate, debug, and deliver fixes for critical production incidents.
• Research the latest technologies to meet future business needs.

Must have

• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Knowledge of Java 8 and the Spring Framework.
• Strong ability to identify requirements and define technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Kafka, or familiarity with another queuing system.
• Experience with version-control tools, especially Git.
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code.
• Good English level.

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful Web Services or microservices.
• Experience automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
