Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging, original quests for players both on paper and in the proprietary C-Engine.
  • Work closely and iteratively with the Narration team; the whole team creates, develops, and provides feedback for all ideas.
  • Act as a quest owner in an interdisciplinary quest strike team, working with Level Design, Level Art, Open World, Animation, Audio, Quality Assurance, and other disciplines to bring the story to life.
  • Cooperate closely with the Quest Producer and Quest Director to maintain the vision and monitor progress.
  • Work in an iterative pipeline and address director feedback.
  • Follow industry trends and innovative solutions to achieve project goals in quests, narration, and gameplay.
  • Report and track time in Jira.

Qualifications

You meet the expectations if you:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the gaming industry.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience as a Quest Designer or in a similar position.
  • Know the basics of storytelling.
  • Have experience creating narration for games on at least one project, including knowledge of an editor used for game creation.
  • Are a storyteller with diverse ideas and are open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
  • Are proactive and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Have strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Are a team player who values constructive criticism, interdisciplinary cooperation, and brainstorming.
  • Have curiosity and a good knowledge of the video game industry.
  • Understand the difference between narrative and gameplay layers in open-world action RPG games.
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English.
