Lead BI Analyst

We are looking for a hands-on Lead BI Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and help customers turn data into measurable business value. The role includes leading BI initiatives, translating complex business needs into actionable insights, designing and optimizing dashboards and reporting solutions, and working closely with stakeholders across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to define, prioritize, and align business needs with project objectives.
  • Translate business needs into clear business, project, and data requirements, guiding delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business and IT teams, including communication with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead data discovery, assessment, and profiling activities, using SQL to analyze large and complex datasets.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of BI and data solutions, including dashboards, reports, data models, data flows, and source-to-target mappings.
  • Own and prioritize product and project backlogs, including epics, features, and user stories, ensuring alignment with business expectations.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation covering business processes, project scope, data requirements, and solution design.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and business relevance of project deliverables, documentation, and data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience delivering data and analytics projects, including BI, DWH, data transformation, migration, governance, or AI initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on experience with business and data requirements across BI, DWH, data, and analytical projects.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery using Agile methodology.
  • Advanced SQL skills with practical experience working with large datasets, data profiling, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of DWH fundamentals, data modeling, data quality, and data architecture principles.
  • Experience creating and reviewing source-to-target mappings, data requirements, and project documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, including data transformation, modeling, and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and align senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership mindset, proactive approach, and ability to drive decisions and project outcomes independently.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
