User Access Certification Analyst

What You’ll Do

  • Build and scale the firm’s user access certification program across applications and systems, driving measurable improvement in access governance and reduction of access-related risk.
  • Lead and coordinate periodic access certification campaigns, including scoping reviewers, scheduling reviews, and ensuring timely completion and remediation.
  • Design and implement processes to detect and resolve inappropriate access, segregation of duties conflicts, and orphaned accounts.
  • Partner with business owners, security teams, and IT application teams to translate control requirements into practical review steps and remediation plans.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and executive reports that track certification progress, remediation effectiveness, and risk trends.
  • Automate and streamline certification workflows by identifying opportunities for tooling, reporting, and process improvement and then implementing those changes.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence, responding to inquiries, and executing audit remediation activities.
  • Analyze entitlement data and perform data validation to ensure accuracy of access inventories and reviewer actions.
  • Produce and maintain clear process documentation, deliver training for reviewers, and provide day-to-day support to stakeholders during certification campaigns.

What’s Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in user access governance, access certification, identity and access management, or a related IT control function.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and executing user access reviews and certification campaigns across multiple applications and systems.
  • Practical experience working with identity and access management systems and entitlement reporting tools.
  • Direct experience supporting internal or external compliance audits, including preparing evidence and implementing remediation for access controls.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and ability to write queries in SQL or similar query languages.
  • Experience using ticketing or workflow systems to track remediation and change requests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and explain technical findings in business terms.
  • Fluency in English and Polish, with availability to work on-site in Warsaw and to coordinate with international teams.
