About Electrification & Energy Solutions
The Electrification & Energy Solutions division focuses on advanced electrified powertrains, zero-emissions products and technologies, and related solutions and services. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, microgrid controllers, charging, energy-storage systems, lifecycle solutions and services, and ePowertrain component integration.
Description
The Senior Engineering Project Team Lead will be part of the Machine Integration and ePowertrain Solutions team and will be accountable for integrating batteries, motors, inverters, power converters and associated control systems into electrified powertrain solutions.
The role partners with Machine Business Divisions across CI and RI product lines to define and execute the enterprise electrification strategy. It works with system architects and simulation experts to define electrified powertrain architecture concepts, execute system evaluations and optimizations, and complete trade-off assessments for performance, energy efficiency, customer total cost of ownership, and R&D timeline and investment.
The Lead will define system requirements based on Voice of Customer, Voice of Business and Voice of Regulation; identify opportunities for leveraged system and component development; and support product development throughout NTI and NPI phases. The role provides technical leadership for concept studies, technical demonstrators, commercial demonstrators and NPI programs, and defines and supports validation of full-electrification and diesel-electric solutions to help machine products meet customer GHG-emissions-reduction goals.
