Senior Java Developer

At Pretius, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to a global-scale platform in the field of gaming and lotteries project.

Project / Role

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions

• Architect solutions for complex technical challenges

• Write unit tests and participate in code/design reviews

• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and problem-solving support

• Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver projects on time

• Drive continuous improvement and develop tools to enhance workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with software debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Concurrent Programming concepts

• Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes development environments

• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Apache Kafka

• Good English communication skills (B2/C1)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field

• Experience with design patterns, code quality practices, and unit testing will be considered an advantage
