Overview of the Role

As a Senior Angular Developer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing advanced web applications that drive business transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions leveraging the latest front-end, database, integration, and cloud technologies. This role is critical to ensuring that HCLTech continues to lead in digital innovation, providing high-impact solutions to global clients.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and solution design, translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including architects and designers, to ensure cohesive system architecture.

• Develop clean, scalable, and efficient code using Angular (version 10+), integrating with REST APIs and front-end frameworks.

• Implement and maintain NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, and support integration with Apache Kafka and Azure Cloud Services.

• Perform comprehensive testing, deployment, and debugging to ensure robust application performance.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Contribute to technical documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Apply DevOps practices, including version control (Git), automation testing (Selenium), and CI/CD deployment toolchains.

• Support Agile methodologies, actively participating in Agile ceremonies and production support.

Skill Requirements

• 8–10 years of overall experience in software development, with proven expertise in at least two of the following areas:

  • Front-End Technologies: Angular (10+), frameworks, REST API integration.

  • Database Technologies: NoSQL databases, MongoDB.

  • Integration & Cloud Technologies: Apache Kafka, Azure Cloud Services, application scaling and monitoring.

• Strong DevOps skills: proficiency in Git, Selenium, CI/CD toolchains.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps pipelines (CI, CD, Code Review, Change Management).

• Hands-on experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, source control management, and branching strategies.

• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux server architecture (clustering, load balancing, installations).

• Familiarity with SDLC processes.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Experience with payment/messaging gateways (FileAct, FTIO, MFT, SAA, MQIO, BESS).

• Integration technologies: IBM Integration Bus (IIB), protocols (HTTP, MQ).

• Experience building frameworks or products.

• Contributions to white papers or open-source projects.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of Spotify Agile model or Dreyfus model.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

This is a hybrid position from Warsaw location.
