Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building innovative data products that help recruiters find the right talent. You will design and implement high-performance applications using Kafka, while collaborating with cross-functional international teams.

Working in the Data Products department, your work will directly power AI Search and ML models across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve data products that serve as the backbone for job listing data across Stepstone’s global platform
  • Design and implement high-performance data pipelines using Kafka
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data engineering solutions
  • Manage and improve ETL pipelines and data orchestration across a rich ecosystem of data sources
  • Continuously improve and scale our data infrastructure to support a growing number of use cases and markets

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in coding with Java
  • Practical knowledge of Airflow or similar orchestration tools
  • Experience working with Kafka (MSK)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing, and ETL
